Rochester: August 22, 2008. Survived by wife, Shirley; daughter, Diane Pariser; sons, Glenn (Helena) Axelrod & Ted Axelrod (fiancé, Mara Ambielli); grandchildren, Samuel, Jordan, Jamie, Jacob, Jehanna & Joshua.
Loving husband, father & grandfather, Howard was a respected physician in the community for over 50 years and an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He was a caring, compassionate person who will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Graveside Services will be held 11AM on Sunday, August 24th at Mt. Hope Cemetery. (Please gather at the main entrance) In lieu of flowers, contributions preferred to the Jewish Home Foundation or The Howard and Glenn Axelrod Fund at the University of Rochester Medical School. Shiva will be observed at 80 Coniston Road, Rochester Sunday, Monday & Tuesday from 6-9PM.
